Our first few days in Ethiopia

What an amazing journey it was getting to Ethiopia. We were exhausted after arriving and got a great first night sleep at the Ritmo Guest house. Josh keeps asking every 5 minutes if it is time to go and get Samuel and Tsion. It seemed to take forever, but we finally headed out with Gail to Kidane Mihret. We found Samuel up on the 2nd floor and then found Tsion on the next floor getting her hair put up by one of the nuns. What an great group of people who are serving these kids. We were impressed by everyone and are so thankful our kids were so well taken care of. We spent some time with our kids and their friends and got a chance to meet their grandmother who we had no idea was going to show up. It was very emotional first day. We then headed back to the guest house to spend time and just relax. We all fell asleep exhusted ready for the next day and the adventure it would bring.
