We Have a Bear

At our house we have deer walking thru our garden, birds nesting in the roof.....and a bear. We received a phone call from a neighbor a couple weeks ago saying that a bear pulled down her iron bird feeder. And a couple nights ago I heard a loud noise outside and thought a raccoon had knocked something over....the next morning I took some compost down and found the bin overturned. The kids are now scared to go into the woods (the reason we bought the house)! The other day Tsion watched as Blackie (our cat) was walking toward the woods and she screamed "Blackie is going to DIE!"

The New Craze

Army men are the new thing at the Klopp house. At least they are cheap! When Lance was little, he painted his into football players. The kids haven't gone that far.... :) but they have painted helmets, pants, tanks......they each picked two colors, now they can identify whose are whose. Here is the proof.......

It's a Girl Thing

This is a picture of Tsion and her friend Becca at baseball. Everyone was looking for the "girls" (both teams, the boys are trying to catch foul balls) and they were in a field, on a blanket, coloring. Keep in mind that this is in the middle of a baseball game, so they are true fans!

Baseball is Almost Over!

Click Here for Zach's the play-off schedule. Josh is finished! On to soccer, on 4 different teams. :)

Smile :))

After Tsion took this pix, Zach said "She has the best smile ever."

Young Life and ET Family

On the right are Sami and Tsions 3 cousins with a Young Life leader. They were able to attend club on Saturday, and will go to YL camp next month. A YL leader from Bainbridge visited with Peter that week, and brought a small package for their family with him. Helen is wearing the YL bracelets that we sent. :) I am sure Melish and Rediet have them on as well!
This is the same place we attended YL at in Ethiopia, so it was familiar to the kids and they were so excited! Here is Peter's e-mail about club:
"Dear Family,
Yesterday (Saturday) we had a wonderful club in the same club house you visited last time. A lot of kids showed up as usual. Melish, Rdiet and Helen were there and they like it very much. Here is an attachment ofsome of club pictures bellow and look at them. Mercy one of my volunteer leaders gave a wonderful talk and see also Johannes you remember him a key leader leading the club an amazing way. I am always thankful to see about what they are doing. Keep your praying for them.
In His Grace.
Peter."
