Tonight we watched Dad play soccer on the 30-40's indoor team (scary)! One thing that Sami told us recently was that when we came to Ethiopia, after playing soccer with Lance, he thought he played on a "real" team like Manchester, Arsenal, Seattle Sounders..... :) Pretty cute!

So as we were watching Dad play, he suddenly had his biggest fan in the stands, Tsion. She hasn't really intently watched Zach play yet, but tonight she was into it. Comments like "Just kick the ball, Go Dad (didn't matter whose dad), Go Go!" She finally stopped cuz too many people were laughing at her. Looks like she has some coaching qualities!

Happy Adoption Day!

Well, whether Sami likes my cooking or not, he is officially stuck with me! 15 families finalized their adoptions for 21 kids, a few were Sami's friends from his orphanage. They had a party at the end with cake, clowns and tons of balloons!

We pulled up to the courthouse later than we expected, Sami opened the trunk, and everything fell out. I am sure we looked pretty funny. We quickly changed clothes in the car....and I put Tsion's dress on , which is the one Chekol (ET dad) had given her when we left ET. As she got out of the car, I realized I could see right thru her dress! This was the only "court outfit" I had brought. After a moment of panic, I found some khaki shorts in her bad, and had her put those on! We made it thru, even though they lost our court docs, and we were the last ones to leave. What a day!

Hide and Seek

While we were packing to go home from our AAI weekend.....my claustrophobic son decided to get in the cabinet to hide (after making sure we would let him out). He sporadically would say a few words to help Tsion find him. This went on for 5 minutes before I grabbed my camera, and if you cannot hear, Zach finally started singing. She even checked behind the ironing board on the wall. Click HERE to see the video!
